Short for Pétillant Naturel (French for “naturally sparkling”), Pet Nat is an ancient style of sparkling wine made using the méthode ancestrale. Unlike Champagne, which undergoes a second fermentation in bottle, Pet Nat is bottled before the initial fermentation is complete. The result? A delightfully fizzy, fresh, and unfiltered wine that captures the vibrancy of the grapes and the spontaneity of nature.
